SF MoMA

An experiment in Storyboarding, Research, and Content...

This book series was recently accepted into SF MoMA's "Special Acquisitions".

As a three-volume set, this book collection was focused on honoring the final wishes of a best-friend, and make good on our promise to collaborate one day.

Whereas this is an uncommon project to list amongst the others, it has soul; it is also anecdotal to several talking points about how research, content, and story, can combine into a powerfully persuasive narrative.

From a technical perspective, this book further exemplifies my expertise in image and content creation, various visual design platforms, (such as Adobe CS, including InDesign), traditional and digital rendering, storytelling, storyboarding, formatting, typography, etc.

Here are a few excerpts...

Chapter 1: I wrote and illustrated an exhibition proposal for her show.

VOLUME  TWO: The remainder of book consists entirely of my own artwork and writing from the same period, recombined to tell a visual  story only understood with hindsight.  As an artist's farewell to an artist, it touches on issues such as legacy, relevance, and remembrance.
